Technical Buyer (m/w/d) - Full-time (38.5h/week)

As part of the international Xtrac Group, ZOERKLER Gears develops, manufactures, and tests prototypes of high‑precision drive systems for demanding aerospace and automotive applications – all the way through to series production. To complement our products, we are looking for motivated and dedicated employees for our site in Jois who identify with our slogan "the spirit of precision".


Your Responsibilities

As a Technical Buyer, you are responsible for the entire purchasing and supplier management process, combining technical understanding with commercial expertise. This includes:

  • Independent and on‑time execution of all operational purchasing activities
  • Supplier management: searching, selecting, evaluating, and auditing suppliers
  • Requesting and comparing quotations, as well as conducting price and contract negotiations
  • Handling purchase orders and monitoring delivery schedules, including claims and complaint management
  • Developing and maintaining professional and responsible supplier relationships
  • Optimizing our procurement processes


Your Profile

  • Completed technical and/or commercial training; industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or HTL preferred

  • Strong technical and commercial understanding

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a metal‑processing company

  • Advanced skills in MS Office and ERP systems

  • Strong numerical aptitude and process understanding

  • Excellent German and English skills, written and spoken

  • Team spirit and a proactive personality
