Project Manager Aerospace & Defence (m/w/d) - Full-time (38.5h/week)

As part of the international Xtrac Group, ZOERKLER Gears develops, manufactures, and tests prototypes of high‑precision drive systems for demanding aerospace and automotive applications – all the way through to series production. To complement our products, we are looking for motivated and dedicated employees for our site in Jois who identify with our slogan "the spirit of precision".


Your Responsibilities

As a Project Manager with a focus on Aerospace & Defence, you act as the interface between customer requirements, engineering, purchasing, and production. You will manage projects from planning to final delivery. This includes:

  • Independent negotiation with customers and partners within the scope of the project
  • Series requirements planning and determination of all relevant input parameters
  • Creation and coordination of delivery schedules, including control and adherence to agreed costs and timelines in collaboration with internal departments
  • Coordination of activities to ensure the economically successful implementation of technical projects
  • Preparation of documentation and reporting for both internal and external use


Your Profile

  • Completed technical degree with an additional qualification in business administration or equivalent 

  • Relevant professional experience in project management, supply chain management, or manufacturing

  • Confident handling of complex technical drawings and aerospace standards

  • Excellent command of German and English

  • Strong skills in MS Office, project management tools, and ERP systems

  • Independent and responsible working style

  • Strong motivation, team spirit, and excellent communication skills
