In this new reality, technological sovereignty, strategic autonomy, and reliable defense suppliers are becoming increasingly important.

Zoerkler proudly looks back on a successful season as a sponsor of two outstanding Austrian Formula Student teams: TU Wien Racing and FH Joanneum Racing Graz. Both teams demonstrated exceptional performance with their fully electric race cars on national and international circuits, and Zoerkler was honored to be part of their journey.

The industrial sector in Burgenland is sending a strong signal for the future – with around 280 apprentices currently training in 38 companies. Zoerkler is proud to be part of this movement. At the "Young Stars of Industry" gala, five of our young talents were recognized for their outstanding achievements: Robert, Paul, David, Raphael, and Ben.

Since September, a new apprentice has joined the Zoerkler team – and for the first time, we now have two young women among our eleven apprentices. The training focuses on metal technology with a specialization in machining technology – a field that requires precision, technical understanding, and a passion for working with metal.

In 2026, Zoerkler will once again be present at two major international trade fairs – continuing our commitment to innovation and excellence in drive technology and precision gear systems.

We are proud to announce that Zoerkler is officially listed on the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO) platform for companies in the Security & Defence sector. This recognition highlights our role as a reliable partner for high-precision drive systems in critical military applications.

In July, Zoerkler Gears participated in the IDEF International Defence Industry Fair in Istanbul – one of the leading trade shows for aerospace and defense technologies.

In August, we had the pleasure of welcoming a special guest to our company: the apprenticeship coach from "Lehre statt Leere" – a nationwide initiative in Austria aimed at supporting young professionals during their training.
