As part of the international Xtrac Group, ZOERKLER Gears develops, manufactures, and tests prototypes of high‑precision drive systems for demanding aerospace and automotive applications – all the way through to series production. Your Responsibilities
As
a Design Engineer, you accompany the product through all stages – from concept
and design to
manufacturing and testing on the test bench. This includes:
- Independent design of complex assemblies in 3D at system level and conceptualization of new developments
- Performing design‑related calculations
- Creating manufacturing drawings independently
- Reviewing manufacturing documents to ensure manufacturability
- and compliance with customer requirements
- Managing configurations and documenting product states within the company's PDM system
- Preparing interim and final reports for customers
Your Profile
- Completed technical education (HTL, University of Applied Sciences, Technical University)
- Several years of experience in drive system design beneficial
- Experience with 3D CAD programs, preferably CATIA, AutoCAD, PTC Creo, or NX
- Excellent German and English skills (written and spoken)
- Accurate, precise, and independent working style
- Strong analytical thinking, proactivity, and persistence
- Team spirit and passion for drive systems
