Zoerkler draws on over one hundred years of progress and innovation in the field of mechanical production of drive systems. In the meantime, the company with over 100 employees - over 20 of them in the R&D department - has become an internationally active specialist for high quality precision systems, which are mainly used in aviation, rail, automotive and industrial applications, printing or oil production. From the development and production of prototypes to the testing of the assembled gearboxes, precision - in the dimension of a two thousandth of a millimetre - counts for Zoerkler. Such precision therefore requires the highest quality. The customers benefit from a high level of technical know-how, which begins with the development and does not end with the production. Zoerkler is a reliable partner for problem solutions of all kinds - from the construction of a highly complicated complete gearbox to simple gearbox service. aviation accounts for the largest share of sales with around 40 percent, industry for ten percent, the rest comes from the rail and automotive sectors. 15 percent of the turnover is reserved for research and development. With the order for the development and series production of the complete drive train for a civil transport helicopter, the company, which has been based in Jois since 2008, received confirmation of its orientation to become one of the best companies in Burgenland on the basis of R&D and to succeed in international competition.
