As early as 2021, a helicopter equipped with a Zoerkler drive system was successfully certified for aviation and approved for series production. This was followed by a successful audit by the Italian aviation authority Leonardo/EANC in 2023, and the EN9100 certification in 2025 – an internationally recognized quality standard for the aerospace industry.
