This year's MAKS, the International Aviation and Space Salon which took place at Zhukovsky, Russia on 20th until 25th July, was a very important affair for the Ka-62 program. Zoerkler who developed and produced the entire transmission system for the helicopter, is celebrating the achievement.

Zoerkler is currently in a growing phase, especially in the areas of research, development, production and testing of drive systems for aviation and e-mobility. As part of a redevelopment, funded investments are being made in the departments of quality control as well as IT and production.

"Mach MINT" is an initiative of the county Burgenland with the aim of inspiring girls and young women to consider novel professional pathways.

First Flight


On 28 Arpil 2016, the Russian civil transport helicopter Ka-62 made its successfull maiden flight in Arseniev, Russia. The drive system of the Ka-62 is a completely new development of the Austrian company Zoerkler Gears.
